Card-en-Ciel is like a rad mix of JRPG and roguelike deckbuilders, Pack with a killer story. You’ve got over 300 unique cards featuring cool characters, 50 fully vocal songs, and a 6x3 playfield that really ups the strategy game. Every war lets you Stone new allies to beef up your deck, help you take down owners and push the story forward. You get to roam freely through dungeons, fight enemies on your terms. You play as Neon, a detective who Has skills in crimes in full-dive VR games. When a game still in development gets hit with a swarm of characters from both classic and modern games, Neon has to dive into virtual dungeons to set things right. Each of the 300+ cards you collect showcases a unique character from those games, complete with full English and Japanese voice acting, making them come alive as they banter with friends and foes alike during battles.
You can recruit powerful Muse cards that kick into action once you meet their conditions, activating unique effects to pull off some wild combos. Each Muse has their own song, crafted to match the era and genre of their original game, totaling 50 epic vocal tracks.
