Valley of Memory adds around six hours of brand-new content to the game for free. The update continues Basim’s story and introduces a completely new area called AlUla, which looks absolutely amazing. It also brings several gameplay improvements that affect the overall game, so there’s more to experience even outside of the new content. In the game, you get to play as one of the most skilled and flexible Assassins in the series. Basim can move around the city using parkour, climb buildings, jump across rooftops, and use a huge variety of tools to deal with enemies. You can visit Assassin bureaus to pick up contracts, upgrade your abilities, and collect clues before going after your targets. The assassinations are also more intense and brutal, making stealth kills feel even more satisfying.
The game also brings back many classic elements that made the Assassin’s Creed series popular while giving them a more modern feel. One of the biggest highlights is getting to visit Alamut, the legendary home of the Assassins. It feels like a nice connection to the older games and works as a tribute to where the whole Assassin’s Creed idea originally started. Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition You’ll also get to explore a detailed and busy version of Baghdad where the people around you react to what you do. The city is split into four different districts, and each one has its own atmosphere and things to discover. You can explore places like the industrial Karkh and the beautiful gardens of the Round City, while also finding random events, secrets, and historical characters connected to Baghdad’s Golden Age.
The story mainly focuses on Basim and how his life changes throughout the game. He starts out as a rebellious young thief who is just trying to survive, but over time he becomes a skilled Master Assassin. Along the way, he meets different allies, mentors, and enemies who all have an impact on his journey and help shape the person he eventually becomes.
